Donate now to support the March for Climate & Justice
Issues in the Netherlands and the rest of the world are piling up. Heat records are being broken time and again, and extreme weather is becoming the norm. People are being discriminated against. Many companies are making record profits while incomes lag behind. Affordable housing is out of reach, food prices are rising, and more and more people are falling into poverty. All these problems are interconnected: from the climate crisis, racism, biodiversity crisis, and poverty to the housing crisis. If we don’t take action now, this will only get worse.
The March for Climate & Justice: 12 November 2023 in Amsterdam
While the crisis is happening now, the government is failing to come up with good solutions. The much-needed transition to a sustainable and just society is still lacking. That’s why on Sunday, November 12th, we are taking to the streets in Amsterdam to organize a large march for Climate and Justice, just before the crucial National Elections. If we all take to the streets together, politicians can no longer ignore us.
You can help make the Climate March on November 12 in Amsterdam the biggest ever! With a donation, you can support the organization of the march and contribute to the transmission of our demands. Donations are crucial for organizing a safe and inclusive march, including for sign language interpreters, security and toilets. But also to set up a good stage, sound systems so everyone can hear the speakers, and a livestream for those who cannot join in person. All amounts, small and large, are welcome. So donate now and help make the march the biggest yet!
Who are we?
The March for Climate and Justice is an initiative by the Dutch Climate Crisis Coalition, which is a collaboration between ten different organizations and groups: Oxfam Novib, Fridays For Future, Greenpeace, Extinction Rebellion, FNV, Fossielvrij NL, Milieudefensie, Grootouders voor het Klimaat, Code Rood, DeGoedeZaak and TNI. The protest itself is organized by a team of passionate people like you, as well as a large number of enthusiastic volunteers – and of course we would be nowhere without the people who donate to this cause.
